Wellness retreats are a growing trend among women wanting to de-stress and beautify them selves. While certain wellness retreats incorporate fitness and beauty treatments, others offer spiritual healing, colonics and special diets. But which one is right?
Experts unanimously seem to agree that good wellness retreats include fitness and/or yoga. While fitness programs offer intense outdoor physical activities, yoga breathing and postures help the mind and the body get in sync with each other.

Another trend observed at wellness retreats is colon hydrotherapy. It doesn't suit all and often causes cramping, nausea and bloating. Cleansing or detox programs must incorporate pure foods and juices in the diet rather than diet pills or supplements.

Experts suggest that an in-depth research of wellness retreats must first be carried out to attain a guaranteed good experience.
